Angie’s Pamper Lounge is known locally for expert skincare treatments and trusted product advice. The challenge was to translate that personal expertise into a website that worked as both a shop and salon management tool - helping Angela grow her business beyond the treatment room.

The project brought together two key elements: a high-performing Shopify store for products, and a fully integrated booking system for treatments - creating one unified customer journey.

Project: Website design and build for Angie’s Pamper Lounge, an established skincare salon in Scotland offering a range of expert treatments and handpicked skincare products. The goal was to create an ecommerce website with integrated booking software, allowing clients to seamlessly purchase treatments and products in a single, easy transaction.

The new site needed to reflect Angela’s professional yet welcoming brand personality, using her existing colour palette and featuring personal product insights through a new “Angie Says” section — where she shares her honest opinions and recommendations based on products she’s personally tried and tested.

Goal: Combine ecommerce and bookings into one smooth, connected experience. Allow customers to pay for treatments and products in a single checkout process. Introduce a deposit system (25% upfront) to secure bookings and reduce cancellations. Automate SMS reminders and email confirmations to cut down on admin time. Maintain a warm, approachable design that feels true to Angie’s personality and brand. Empower Angela to manage her own availability, bookings, and product catalogue via Shopify.

The Challenge

Previously, Angela managed product sales and appointment bookings separately, leading to extra admin and missed opportunities for upselling. The main goals were to:

Streamline the client experience so that treatments and products could be purchased together.

Reduce the time Angela spent manually confirming and managing appointments.

Create a dependable booking process that reflected her real availability.

Present her expertise and warmth through the website’s tone and visuals.

The Approach

We built the new Shopify site around Angela’s brand - expert yet approachable, polished but friendly. The existing colour scheme was refined for consistency, and imagery focused on calm, inviting tones.

Integrated Ecommerce + Bookings: We connected Shopify with a bookings system that syncs availability, sends automated reminders, and supports deposits. Customers can now purchase skincare products and book treatments in one smooth checkout.

Deposit System: Treatments require a 25% deposit at the time of booking, with the balance captured in-person after the appointment - reducing no-shows and improving cash flow.

Smart Notifications: Automatic SMS reminders are sent 24 hours before appointments, while email confirmations include links for customers to reschedule or cancel - drastically cutting down admin time.

Personal Touches: The “Angie Says” section showcases her product expertise, giving genuine, experience-based advice that builds trust and drives product sales.

Client Empowerment: We worked closely with Angela to help her understand the Shopify backend - managing her availability, adjusting pricing, and tracking bookings independently.

The Outcome

The result is a confident, modern website that feels authentically Angie. Customers can now discover treatments, book appointments, and shop products all in one visit - whether on desktop or mobile.
